Joining Greensboro Municipal Federal Credit Union is simple:
1. Identify your means of eligibility.
a) If your relative is a member at Greensboro Municipal Federal Credit Union you are eligible.
b) If your employer is listed in our "Eligible Employer" database you are eligible.
c) OR, if one of your family members (spouse, domestic partner, parents, stepparents, stepchildren, adoptive relationship, those living in the same home or economic unit) works for an Eligible Employer you are eligible as well.
2. Stop by either office and complete a membership application.
3. Bring photo identification with your primary residence listed, a copy of your Social Security Card, passport, or visa and a $25 deposit for your share account. The $25 deposit establishes membership and can be withdrawn if you choose to close your account. If the primary member is under 18 years of age, please bring a copy of their birth certificate.
